Discover precious tablecloths and household linen in natural linen from the Italian artisans of Borgo delle Tovaglie. At Borgo delle Tovaglie we develop local, handcrafted products. All our tablecloths are cut in our central workshop in Bologna and the different finishes are carried out by specialised craftsmen.
Tecla is the first step on a new path: a collection that elevates the tablecloth to a signature object. Made of pure linen, decorated with important embroidery entirely hand-carved, Tecla inaugurates the Studio line, the new line of haute couture by Borgo Delle Tovaglie. A line designed for those seeking absolute excellence: refined finishes, customizable details, generous volumes and a style that looks as much to the tradition of embroidery as to the contemporary elegance of haute couture workmanship.
The corners, the protagonists of the composition, skim the floor like the hem of an evening gown. The decorative pattern, hand-drawn, enhances each fall of the fabric with dramatic grace. The napkin, in fine linen, is wider than standard and holds the same distinctive mark of embroidery. Tecla is dedicated to those who love to receive in style, those who believe that a well-set table is distinctive of an elegance equal to the memory it will leave.
A collection designed for those who believe that beauty is not reserved for great occasions, but can be found even in the simplest gestures, every day. "Everyday Borgo delle Tovaglie" is a capsule collection designed to accompany the table every day, a table that welcomes, that tells of a home lived with love.
Four stain-resistant cotton tablecloths, essential in line but embellished with a refined tailored border, become the protagonists of a mise en place that invites spontaneity, without renouncing elegance. Our approach to production is based on seasonality and craftsmanship, to always offer products of the highest quality. That is why every year we design a spring-summer collection, an autumn-winter collection and a special capsule dedicated to Christmas.

The company BORGO DELLE TOVAGLIE has developed an investment project during the year 2023 benefiting from the European Funds of the Emilia-Romagna Region, with regional resources and co-financed by the European Union, following participation in the "Call for support for export promotion projects and participation in trade fair events in 2023".
This project focuses on the presence of the company at the international trade fair event "Maison & Object", in Paris, from 7 to 11 September 2023.
In addition, "Borgo delle Tovaglie", again through the organization, has joined the dematerialized event "Maison & Object fair online" in the year 2023, a further important international showcase complementary to that of the physical fair.
The project arises from the desire to consolidate the presence on foreign markets, leading to greater visibility and diffusion of the band.
