There are collections that are born to follow a trend, and then there are those that define a style. The Bauhaus line is among the latter, not a novelty, but a constant and recognizable presence: tablecloths, runner e placemats  that tell our contemporary vision of Borgo delle Tovaglie through a decisive and clean textile proposal.

I created  Bauhaus thinking about the consistency of stroke, the quality of a material, the attention to a detail. This is the philosophy that guided the birth of Bauhaus and that, season after season, keeps it current and always full of style.

Design as an everyday gesture

The collection is named after the famous German Bauhaus school, founded in 1919, which revolutionized the concept of design by combining functionality and beauty, formal rigor and creative freedom. More than just a style a way of thinking that celebrates clean form, essential geometry and visual balance.

Inspired by this approach, I created a textile line that transforms the table into an exercise in graphic composition, volumes and solids, surfaces that dialogue with each other as in a contemporary painting.

But if the starting point is design the soul remains profoundly artisanal, here essentiality is never cold, nor minimalist. On the contrary, it is warm, textural, made of fabrics that can be caressed, of stitching and sartorial attention.

This is why the Bauhaus collection, with its clean, simple and striking lines, fits easily into any home and furnishing style, bringing with it a contemporary allure.

Linen and cotton: two interpretations of the same elegance

The Bauhaus collection is made of certified linen and high-quality cotton, processed in Italy in our tailor's shop. Two different fabrics that tell two sensibilities: linen, natural and sophisticated, perfect for an elegant but relaxed setting; cotton, more practical but no less refined, also ideal in the version with stain-resistant treatment, for everyday use that does not give up style.

In both cases, attention to detail is what we put into all our products: every seam is a precise gesture, every edge is calibrated to create a harmonious and functional visual structure. Tablecloths come in many different sizes, suitable for most tables on the market, but they are all made to measure, to enhance spaces.

Geometries and colors: an elegant visual grammar

The distinguishing element of the collection is its graphic imprint. Wide stripes, color blocks, and contrasting borders become visual signs that structure the table without weighing it down. Nothing is decorative in a superfluous sense: each choice is functional to the overall balance.

Bauhaus tablecloths are available in many colors, such as sage green, which introduces a vegetal, elegant and bright note, perfect for contemporary but also rustic settings. Rust warms the composition discreetly, while midnight blue gives depth and silence. Finally, mastic offers a sophisticated alternative to white while maintaining a light and visually clean feeling.

For spring summer 2025, the collection is enriched with new hues to complement the classics. These new colors broaden the possibilities of composition, allowing you to play with contrasts or build ton sur ton tables with a monochromatic taste, but never monotonous. Among the season's novelties are the Mastic - Tropea combinations, delicate and pinkish, and Mastic - Fern, a modern reinterpretation of fern green: elegant and versatile shades, perfect for creating refined contrasts or ton sur ton tables.

Setting the table with Bauhaus tablecloths: a stylish gesture

Those who choose the Bauhaus collection are not simply looking for a tablecloth. They are looking for a coherent visual language capable of telling our aesthetic preferences. It is a collection designed for those who love rational beauty, for those who consider the table a stylish space to be carefully designed, but also to be experienced with spontaneity.

Each element is designed to coexist with the others: tablecloths match the center runners in patterned or plain fabrics with contrasting profiles, while American placemats - square or rectangular - add depth without weighing down. Napkins, often in patterned fabrics or tailored stripes, complete the ensemble with a personal touch.

A contemporary table that tells who you are

Among the most emblematic mise en place created with the collection is the Monsieur table, designed for the program A tavola con Lorenzon, on Food Network. Here, a black and steel gray striped tablecloth blends with ceramic plates, two-tone glasses and napkins inspired by a gentleman's wardrobe. The result is a contemporary table setting that is bold, masculine without rigidity, effortlessly elegant.

Bauhaus also lends itself to more feminine, more romantic or more convivial interpretations, depending on the pairings. It is a flexible collection, transversal in style and occasion, suitable for both formal dinners and informal brunches, always capable of communicating identity and good taste.

Bauhaus, discover the new colors

What makes Bauhaus an evergreen collection is not only its stylistic consistency, but its ability to evolve over time. New colors and variations enrich the narrative while keeping the original language intact. There is no forcing or concessions to the ephemeral: only organic growth, guided by the same aesthetic vision that gave birth to it.

And it is precisely this consistency in change that makes it iconic. It does not follow fashions, it crosses them with elegance.

The silent luxury of design

In a world saturated with images and stimuli, Bauhaus represents a return to the essential. A discreet luxury, made of materials that are beautiful to see and touch, shapes that never tire, and combinations that stand the test of time. It is a collection that fits into the home naturally, and that manages to transform even the simplest dinner into an aesthetically satisfying moment.

Choosing it means choosing a style, not a product. It means being able to recognize the value of consistency, measure, and detail. It means bringing to the table a signature that needs no explanation, because it speaks for itself.
